Relief Printing (2017-)

My first exposure to relief printing was actually in my 5th grade art class. I remember presenting my freshly carved stamp to my art teacher— who, with a frown and furrowed brow, informed me that my carving technique was too messy and that I needed to start over. I reluctantly returned to relief printing during a high school art class. With an older (and hopefully wiser) perspective, I soon learned to embrace the messiness and unconventionality of the medium.
